Data analysis skills for the clinical researcher: A hands-on training on SPSS
Key objectives:
- Understand types of data generated from clinical research and basic
statistical tests (e.g., t-tests, nonparametric tests, chi-square, etc). - Learn how to prepare the data sheet on SPSS.
- Explain tests of normality to determine the distribution of the
continuous data. - Understand regression analyses (logistic and linear)
and correlation tests (Pearson’s and Spearman’s). - Demonstrate how to apply statistical tests on a sample of data.
